Public Affairs firm announces the addition of Jane Hamilton to Leadership Team
(Houston, TX)// Longtime political operative and advocate Jane Hamilton has joined Houston based Elite Change, LLC (EC) as Chief Political Officer. Hamilton brings a depth of experience and success to the EC team with over a decade of political experience on statewide and national scenes.
Although a New Orleans native, Jane Hamilton has established deep political roots in Texas. She worked on the successful campaigns of State Senator David Cain and Congressman Martin Frost, which includes his tenure as Chairman of the House Democratic Caucus. Most notably, Jane managed the Dallas County Democratic 2006 coordinated campaign which resulted in a county-wide Democratic sweep and served as a model for replication in Harris County during the 2008 campaign cycle. She recently managed the successful 2010 General Election campaign of Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins. In addition to her electoral successes, Jane has a vast knowledge of the legislative process on the state and federal levels. She previously worked at the Texas House of Representatives, the US House Democratic Caucus, the Rules Committee staff of the U.S. House and in the D.C. office of Public Strategies, Inc.

In her role as Chief Political Officer, Jane will oversee the operations of the company which has grown to a practice that services clients across 15 states including the District of Columbia. She will manage a portfolio of clients that includes elected officials, non-profits, and corporate clients. The addition of Hamilton marks the expansion of EC operations into the North Texas area.
